Undead Horde raises itself onto Steam

For those that missed it last week, the developers at 10ton have released a new title Undead Horde. 10ton is a studio that specializes in twin-stick shooters with interesting settings. They're responsible for several other well received titles like JYDGE and Tesla vs Lovecraft. Undead Horde certainly plays to their strengths with similar gameplay loops.

You'll take on the role of a necromancer in this quirky game, raising the dead to do your bidding. Focusing your necromancer's build path on combat, necromancy, or spells offers a bit of variety to the gameplay. And by collecting loot like weapons and armour throughout the game, you can further specialize your necromancer's abilities.

You progress through the larger world map by clearing out smaller areas. Each area is a little different with some different types of quests and puzzles to keep things interesting. However, most of the time you're simply clearing the map of enemies before moving on. It definitely leans more into the action RPG side of things and combat can get quite hectic.

Overall Undead Horde is great fun. As a necromancer player from Diablo II, I always appreciate the opportunity to call on the dead to get things done.

Undead Horde is currently available on Steam.
