Light Fairytale Episode I leaves early access

neko.works have decided that the first episode of Light Fairytale is complete and have officially released the game on Steam today. Light Fairytale is made in the style of classic 3D turn-based JRPGs of late 90's, think FFVII and the like. The game has been in early access for 6 months until today.

The gameplay consists of running around 3D environments with a static camera position, again, think FFVII but proper 3D instead of pre-rendered. The battle system is what you would expect for a game in this style. It plays it safe with the classic turn-based style and doesn't really deviate.

Unfortunately the game is a little short, especially for a JPRG, at around 2-4 hours. But the overall experience is good enough to be worth the price, in my opinion. The developer has also mentioned that the second episode is currently planned for release in December of this year. Very impressive for a development team that reports to be just one person.
