Wine development release 4.8 is now available

The Wine project has released version 4.8 today into the development branch. It's a pretty light update filled mostly with bug fixes. Of course these are always welcome.

Among the changes are some improvements to joystick handling, which should make things a little more reliable. Some work has also been done to improve steering wheel compatibility.

Wine has been making big strides lately, thanks in large part to the contributions of CodeWeavers and their collaboration with Valve. If you'd like to support the Wine project, consider purchasing a Crossover Linux license or donate to the Wine Development Fund directly.
