The Daedalic published Iratus: Lord of the Dead, comes from the newly-formed St. Petersburg development studio Unfrozen. Iratus is a roguelike with RPG and tactical elements that takes inspiration from games like Darkest Dungeon.

Announced today, the game is officially leaving early access on April 23rd. Iratus originally launched on Kickstarter in 2018 and made it's early access debut a year later in July 2019. Since then, the game has received steady updates and lots of generally favourable reviews from players.

Along with today's release announcement, Unfrozen has also updated Iratus with a pre-release patch. This new patch adds, among other things, native Linux support. Although the SteamOS logo is not currently shown on the store page, it will install and play without issue. Linux support was something that was first promised during the game's Kickstarter.

For a full overview on the specifics of today's patch, check out the official announcement post, or visit the game's official Steam page.
