Hammertime! is a hectic game about repairing a bunker

The theme for this year's Global Game Jam is repair, and Hammertime! embodies that perfectly. Everything in your bunker is falling apart, including you, and you must do your best to keep everything running smoothly. Easier said than done.

The goal is to try and last 7 minutes without anything going catastrophically wrong in the bunker. You'll be running around trying to get the power turned back on, while the furnace is on fire, and you're dying of hunger. It gets extremely hectic when multiple things start going wrong at once.

Each piece of machinery requires a different technique to re-activate. For instance, the air filter requires 3 properly timed button presses, while the power generator needs a correct 3-button input sequence to get going again. It adds a bit more variety to the game that I think works pretty well.

It's amazing what the team working on Hammertime! was able to produce in just a couple of days. Check it out right now on itch.io.
