The Pedestrian launches today - a puzzle game in an urban setting

Some 3 years after Skookum Arts launched their Kickstarter campaign for The Pedestrian, it's finally here. It's been a long process, as game development always is, but the team has been very good about supplying updates on the game's progress.

The Pedestrian uses all kinds of street-signage as its core puzzle elements, which makes the urban and industrial environments an essential part of the experience. The basic gameplay involves rearranging signs, and other objects, then connecting them together in a way that allows you to guide the character to the goal.

Most of the gameplay happens in 2D space, however there is lots of 'transitioning' between objects in the 3D world. It's another nice way of melding puzzle solving with the environment.

The Pedestrian is available on Steam and an early demo (from 2017) is available on their itch.io page if you'd like to get a taste of the game first.
