Steam's Remote Play Together is now officially out of beta. With Remote Play Together, you can host a game on one machine, stream it to friends, and allow them to share input with the hosted game. The perfect feature for playing couch co-op games that don't have built-in online functionality. Because it uses the same protocol as Steam Link and Remote Play, connected players can be on any device, which makes cross-platform multiplayer possible.

To celebrate the release of the new feature, Steam is having a surprise sale concentrating on multiplayer co-op games. Lot's of great Linux titles are discounted including: Enter the Gungeon, Wizard of Legend, Risk of Rain, and Moon Hunters. The sale is scheduled to run until November, 25th.

For the rest of the day, some big personalities from the Dota 2 scene are hosting a stream showing off some of the features of Remote Play Together. A full list of games, and the stream, are available on the official Steam page.
