Jackbox Party Pack 6 available now

It's October and that means that it's once again time for a new collection of multiplayer party games from Jackbox Games. Native Linux support is a staple of the series so it's great to see that nothing has changed in that area.

Jackbox Part Packs are multiplayer minigame collections designed for larger groups of 3-10 players. Everybody plays with their smartphones so there's no need for any extra equipment to get people playing. They're a great way to start or end an evening with a bit of fun.

Jackbox Party Pack 6 features 5 new games:

• Trivia Murder Party 2 (1-8 players). Try to survive the bizarre new minigames.
• Dictionarium (3-8 players). May the funniest definition win.
• Push The Button (4-10 players) . Can you discover the aliens in time?
• Joke Boat (3-8 players). Craft one-liners for a cruise ship talent show.
• Role Models (3-6 players). Find out who you really are. (Or at least what your friends think of you.)

The standout game this year seems to be Push The Button, a unique take on the popular social game Mafia. Players must try to figure out, who among them, is an alien before running down the clock.
